I liked the episode. Nice start
As soon as Jacob said back at camp that he found an idol I wondered if anyone would ask him about the idol letter and BAM, there it was
Sebastian looked like he already had an immunity idol around his neck
Not sad to see Stephanie go home. Was not happy to see Jacob go home
They should have booted Donathan
Will those booted have a chance to come back?

Liked it too. Seems there's a lot of gamers right off the bat. Usually unless its returning players, first few episodes are slow in gameplay, but we already have talk of double-double crossing and a couple of fake idols. Jacob seemed like a great character, but not a good player sadly. Poor guy.

~*I liked the episode. I am looking forward to this season. I didn't want to see Jacob go, not because I was a huge fan of his but he was at least interesting. Michael is very handsome but he is boring to me so far so I would have rather seen him go instead of Jacob. I would have been fine with Donathan going home but he was safe.

I thought maybe Michael would go home since they invested a lot more in Jacob's character than Michael's but maybe that was because Jacob was just more interesting. He was a pretty awful player though. First mistake: This choice of conversation topics: Jacob: "I wonder if there's an idol?" Others: "Oh, yeah, its not Survivor without idols" Jacob: "I think I'm going to go...exploring..."
Second mistake was showing off his fake idol immediately after returning to camp. That's not what someone with an idol would do. He should have kept the idol hidden, maybe let someone accidentally get a glimpse of it, be seen shoving the note back in his pocket after furtively reading it, stuff like that. He was just a poor player.
The remaining Stephanie looks like a good player. Donathan will be the break out star and the guy Jeff Probst will talk to at the finale. I think he's a good character.

~*Yep! Jeff definitely has his star for the season in Donathan. Jacob was a very dumb player. I was saying to Maxx that I wonder if they may bring someone back like they did in the Pirate Season. With it being Ghost Island that kind of fits the theme.

I suppose they could bring someone back. But people sure didn't like that so I have my doubts they would.
