Is anyone watching this HBO show? Porn & prostitutes in the 70s, what's not to love

~* I have watched the first two episodes and I enjoyed them. I liked them both but I enjoyed the second episode more. You are getting to know the characters better now.

I know just last week I said they were taking a nice, slow burn, but they've got to move it along a little

~*I guess the show is going to cover a full year this season? That is kind of what I was thinking as I watched last night.

As I was watching it I knew Synn would not be happy. I wonder if we'll see Ruby/Thunder's killer next season
I loved the beating Vince gave those 2 guys
His brother-in-law is a hypocritical joke.
The writing is on the wall that there are changes in the industry when a housewife wants to give "acting" in porn a try
I was not happy with that reporter. She expects Alston to put his career and perhaps his life in jeopardy just for her story?
The film Frankie was watching at the beginning in the booth, did anyone else think that seemed pretty explicit for HBO?
I felt so bad for Candy/Eileen's brother. After having electricity shot through your body after who knows how many times, a person would be willing to say and act any way they had to just to get it to stop. Dear old dad was sweet enough to give them permission to torture his son so he wouldn't be embarrassed. From what Eileen said in that scene it seems like their father didn't care enough about his kids to be upset about his son being gay, just that people might find out and it would reflect badly on him. Would he care if he was hit by a truck or moved to the other side of the world or flew to the moon? Nope. But if he makes him look bad then he's dead to him. Fucking prick.
