Its weird because I really like Wendell, but I hate Laurel and her game. Hate it! Had they given Chelsea some airtime, this episode could at least look exciting.
I'm finding this season so disappointing because nothing is moving and the way its being edited out seems so bland and repetitve. Each week is centered around Donathan and Laurel ending up not making a move. After a couple of episodes of the same, can't they just spin it another way until the 2 actually make a move, if they even do.
Depends who ends up winning, but if its Dom or Wendell (esp. if its Wendell) then these past few seasons have been edited to make sure viewers root for the winner instead of actual storytelling. That would make sense to why we don't even see Chelsea, because we are meant to not want her to stay, right? I've been noticing this a lot in restrospect. Because of this, i'm kind of rooting for Kellyn now.. ew! LOL

Ugh, not Kellyn :/. As much as I like Wendell, its a little frustrating to see he and Dom have such an easy time of things. But good for them. They put themselves in a good position and have had a lot of luck . Because of the bad luck of the Maolos and the way the tribes have split, and because of Kellyn and her pals wanting to stay Naviti strong, Dom and Wendell have been pretty much left alone. I don't blame Laurel and Donathan, as Maolos, they have needed a place to hide. Busting up their alliance with Dom and Wendell really hasn't been a great idea. Even in this episode, if they voted with the girls,Laurel is at the bottom of that alliance. She knows as well as we do that Dom and/or Wendell would be tough to beat at the final tribal council, but she's not going far with Kellyn, Chelsea and Angela. As much as we'd like to see a move made to shake up the game, I do feel like sticking with Wendell and Dom is a safer route to going further.

~*ACFan*~I am a fan of Wendell and have liked him since the first or second episode but I do agree that the editing may have changed so that we do root for the ensuing winner. It definitely seems that Wendell or Dom will be the winner. So, yeah, another boy winner!
I wanted Laurel gone. I am sorry but she seems like a not very smart player at all. She seems like she is playing for Dom and Wendell. I also would have been thrilled to see Kellyn go but once again she manages to stay.

Laurel's playing for third or second, whichever many people will be in the final tribal. If that was her goal, then she is right on track. But more than her, I just really hate the editing of this season. Laurel can honestly play how best she feels like, but to keep on focusing on her for whatever reason is making me lose interest in survivor 😞
I hope she doesn't win !!!

If she wins then she was playing a great game and the editors were correct to focus on her  The focus the last couple of shows on whether she will flip on Wendell and Dom with the same results each time is a little repetitive and makes for a less-than-exciting show, but maybe its the only thing of import going on. Dom and Wendell dont have to scramble so there's not much to see there. I feel like Laurel is playing the game she has to though. She could make a big move to pad her resume and blindside Wendell, but that puts her really vulnerable to not getting to the end. It just doesn't make sense. Logically its better to play a boring safe game and hope to get some future resume highlights than it is to make a big move that makes it more likely you will be voted out sooner. |

Yeah, the only good explanation for me is that Laurel might be winning, which would suck but I'd kind of get the edit. Otherwise, I honestly feel like to me, Survivor is jumping the shark 😩
They've had episodes before where they've stopped fabricating the tension before TC, i dunno, I feel that might have been better. What's the use of a Wendell vs Chelsea when they've never shown Chelsea before? Are they expecting us to believe Wendell has a chance to go over Chelsea??? Would prefer to have heard from Chelsea, Des, etc. than this repetitive, predictable storyline. I don't believe Chelsea laid there not strategizing and talking to people for a whole month.
This is all moot though if Laurel will be winning. But til then, bad editing !!! Lol

Oh, and I do like Dom and Wendell. I don't have much choice though really. They've muted half the post merge players. Shady! Ponderosa has been fun though.
