Kaitlyn Has Swiped Left On Her HOH
Greetings My Loyal Minions, Maxx Fisher Here
I am an old, happily married man, so I missed out on the entire online dating thing. I have a lovely bride so there is no need for me to lie online to try and get a date. My date is permanent, whether she likes it or not. I don't have to coerce anyone into going out with me is what I'm saying. It's not like I'm HOH and I try and get someone to sleep with me by giving them the idea that I could send them home. That seems almost unthinkable, doesn't it? More on that later
The episode begins with the aftermath of Kaitlyn's baffling (to everyone but Tyler) nominations. The only hope for Scottie in his mind is to win the Veto. The 6 players are going to be Kaityn, Scottie, Winton, Faysal, Rachel and Tyler. Before the competition Kaitlyn tells Faysal that she didn't want him to win. He didn't really get why she wanted that, then she told him that winning would be very bad for his game after she did what she was planning. He was really uncomfortable with her saying that so she did some quick damage control and said that it would put a target on his back. He didn't understand that, which makes him an idiot.
Just a slight break from the actually show. If you watch the feeds or After Dark then you know that Kaitlyn is desperate for some dick. She has been chasing after all the guys other than JC (gay) and Chris (taken). She specifically said to Faysal in the HOH room "I want to fuck you so bad". She thought she was covering her microphone but we all know how competent she is. She's tried to kiss Tyler, she's asked for backrubs from the other guys. She wants the D and she wants it bad. By the way, Kaitlyn had a boyfriend. HAD. His sister has stated on Twitter that he broke up with her, she just doesn't know it. But funny thing is, the camera people keep zooming in on a picture of Kaitlyn and her now former boyfiend in the HOH room. OK, back to the show.
The Veto is simple. Each player will see a profile of a former houseguest and sort out where they would have their dream date. A simple challenge where you just had to pay attention to detail. The big deal about this Veto is that Jess and Cody from last year show up, although they don't host it. They appear before the challenge and they announce the winner, Tyler, but that's it.
Funny thing about Jess and Cody's visit. Kaitlyn thinks that Cody was flirting with her because he smiled at her. I can understand that, she rarely smiles. But later she says she's not sure if she should back door Chris because Jess and Cody were cold towards her when they were in the house. Which is it? He was either flirting with you or they were cold towards you, it can't be both. And by the way, the people in this episode said "Backdoor" a comical amount of times.
After the Veto competition Kaitlyn has a moment where she wants to keep Chris. Tyler quickly derails that thinking and Chris is once again going to go up on the block. She does tell Faysal she plans on saving Scottie and she'll put up Angela. Well that puts Faysal in the best of moods, but Kaitlyn can barely contain her tears from lying to her best friend in the house or as I like to think of him as the "object of her sexual obsession".
Quick comedic interlude, Rachel gets her Crap App. Randomly over a 24 hour period a man will come into the house and yell at Rachel and tell her how bad she is at everything. He reminds me of Chris Farley's "Van Down By The River" character. It's very funny and it's a lot better than Faysal's Hamazon punishment. Rachel takes it very well.
Kaitlyn, being Kaitlyn can't contain herself when it comes to her plan. She tells Haleigh who thinks it's an idiotic idea, but she doesn't want to criticize the (unstable) HOH, because who knows what she's going to do. She tries to tell Kaitlyn that Tyler might not have her best interests at heart but she is not hearing it. Haleigh tells Angie about the Chris plan and it's obvious to both of them that Tyler is running the house. Kaitlyn wants to tell Faysal what she plans on doing because she still wants a chance to get a piece of that. The only problem is she doesn't exactly tell him what she is going to do. She says I hope we can still be friends after what I'm about to do. I think he honestly thought he was going to go up. She asked for a hug. He said no.
During the actual Veto Ceremony Kaitlyn is in tears. After Tyler saves Scottie and Kaitlyn has to nominate someone you can barely understand what she's saying, but everyone understands enough to know that Chris is now up on the block. I don't think anyone has any doubt who is going to go home this week. Faysal is confused about all of Kaitlyn's actions. Baliegh makes it all about her. Kaitlyn feels empowered, she sticking up for her truth and by her truth she means Tyler's desires. Chris is actually somewhat quiet and subdued. That's the most shocking thing in the entire episode.
I leave you with this, my goat yoga practitioners, will Kaitlyn ever realize, even after she has gone and watched all the episode, that she was completely played by Tyler? Will she be able to accept reality and see what actually happened or will she be one of these people that refuse to admit what happened even though we all saw it? When Chris is out of the house will we still hear from him that he was running everything also? Now that the Veto ceremony is over and Kaitlyn has no real power anymore will she be able to force one of her fellow houseguest into a sexual situation they don't want or will Faysal change his mind and swipe right on her? Probably not.
